Meeting with parents of kindergarten students at Primary School No. 16 in Szczecin

On April 17, 2024, representatives of the Consumer Affairs Unit, from the Office of Electronic Communications Szczecin branch: Jacek Jarocki, Andrzej Żukowski and Anna Gottfried-Stankiewicz, participated in a meeting with parents of kindergarten students from Szczecińskich Olimpijczyków Primary School No. 16, located ul. Chobolańska 20 street in Szczecin.
The workshops focused on cyberbullying and safe use of the Internet, as well as conscious use of telecommunications devices by the youngest users. The indispensable role of guardians in filtering the content shared with children was highlighted. Parents were introduced to phenomena such as child grooming, sexting and sextortion. There was also information on famous "Pandora Gate" - a scandal related to the activities of leading YouTubers in Poland. About 30 people took part in the meeting.
This is our third meeting with parents of students of Primary School No. 16 in Szczecin. We are glad that the topic of safe use of available technologies and the risks associated with them continues to attract so much interest.
