11th International Senioralia in Cracow

11th International Senioralia in Cracow

The 11th International Senioralia in Cracow is an event that confirms that the activation of older people in Poland is gaining momentum and becoming more and more extensive. The organizers were the MANKO Association – Głos Seniora and the International Institute of Social Development. This year's event, in which we took part once again, gathered an impressive number of participants - over 6,000 seniors from all over the country and abroad. The event was not only an opportunity for social meetings, but also a space for exchanging knowledge, experiences and taking care of health and personal development.

Senioralia program included a number of interesting workshops, lectures and concerts. Seniors had the opportunity to participate in discussion panels on health, safety, and physical and social activity. The event, attended by both: older people and organizations supporting their activation, was aimed at promoting a healthy and full life in older age.

The Office of Electronic Communications took care of its seniors by offering a range of advice and information on the safe use of electronic communication services. Seniors could learn how to avoid frauds that are related to mobile phones and the Internet, as well as how to effectively use modern technologies, which is extremely important nowadays, especially for older people. Our stand was a popular place where experts provided practical advice and seniors could ask questions about modern technologies.

To sum up, the 11th International Senioralia in Cracow is an event that not only integrates older people, but also educates and inspires. Thanks to such initiatives, seniors have the opportunity to be active members of society, and their needs are more often noticed and respected. The huge number of participants and the involvement of institutions such as UKE show that seniors are an important element of the community, and taking care of their development and safety is a priority.

Thank you all for coming and see you next year :)
