Conference at the Hotel and Catering School Complex

On Monday, March 27, we met with the parents of students from the Hotel and Catering School Complex on 30/36 Majdańska Street in Warsaw. UKE experts gave a lecture on the risks that young people may encounter on the Internet. We discussed topics such as unrealistic standards of beauty on social networks, hate and phishing, which affects not only young people, but also adults.

The speed of development of communication techniques requires education in the field of privacy protection, image protection, secure information exchange and protection against phishing. Currently, among young people, the line between the real world and the virtual world is blurring. Communication, friendships, shopping and entertainment have moved to the online world. It is important that young Internet users know how to safely and responsibly harness the potential of the Internet. In order to set a good example and be supportive, parents must have adequate knowledge about online threats and their prevention.

This was another educational meeting to which we were invited by the Hotel and Catering School Complex. We are glad that the school cares about the safety of its students and their parents by implementing the "Safety on the Web" project.
