“I know what I'm signing” in Szczecin

On 18 November 2024, representatives of the Regional Branch of the Office of Electronic Communications in Szczecin participated in an event organized by the Szczecin-Śródmieście District Branch of the Polish Association of Pensioners and Invalids in Szczecin. The meeting took place at the Scandinavian Meeting Point at Monte Cassino 6 Street in Szczecin.
As part of the ‘I know what I’m signing’ campaign, Head of the Consumer Affairs Unit Jacek Jarocki and Senior Specialist Andrzej Żukowski discussed with participants the safety of seniors in the context of using telecommunications services, and above all, the rights and obligations arising from the conclusion of contracts with operators. They pointed out how to use the services and advised how not to be deceived. In addition, the most important changes regarding consumers as introduced by the Electronic Communications Law Act were presented.
