"Online safety explained easily„ at the Non-Public Work Training School in Gdańsk

Katarzyna Mądrzycka-Adamczyk from the Consumer Policy Department conducted workshops "Online safety explained easily" at the Non-Public Work Training School in Gdańsk, a facility operating at the Polish Association for People with Intellectual Disabilities (PSONI) Gdańsk branch. The workshops covered the following topics:

  • Netiquette - rules of online behaviour, respect for others and the basics of online safety.
  •  How not to fall for scams - discussion of various online threats and ways to protect yourself against them.
  •  How not to get sucked in - a conversation about addiction to being constantly online and how to find a healthy balance.
  • How to be yourself safely online - repetition and consolidation of knowledge about safe behaviour on the Internet.

This activity is a part of the "Virtual World for All" project, which was nominated in this year's edition of WSIS Prizes.
