Opening Conference of the Consumer Analysis Centre

On 13 October 2023 UKE experts attended the Opening Conference of the Consumer Analysis Centre - a think-tank focusing on consumer issues.

The Consumer Analysis Centre was established by the LexCultura Foundation in order to build and develop a strong consumer sector. The opening event was held under the honorary patronage of, among others, the President of the Office of Electronic Communications.

Dorota Grudzień-Barbachowska, Director of UKE's Consumer Policy Department, gave a lecture entitled: "The conscious consumer in the digital era". During her speech, she touched upon the dynamically changing environment in which we function as consumers, our needs regarding innovative digital services, but also the threats we face and of which we, as consumers, need to be aware.

Shaping consumer awareness in the digital world is fundamental to the functioning of the modern customer. It provides the opportunity to make accurate and prudent decisions, as well as to build habits ensuring our safety as users of digital services.
