Safe online – meeting with high school students from Biała Podlaska

On World Consumer Day, employees of the UKE Regional Branch in Lublin were invited to an inter-school educational and information competition "I know my rights as a consumer". The aim of the meeting was to increase knowledge in the field of consumer rights. The organization of the meeting was coordinated by Ms. Jolanta Marczuk - Consumer Ombudsman, with the support of the Biała Podlaska Cultural Center.
The competition's closing ceremony took place at the Biała Podlaska City Hall and was also an opportunity to draw the attention of secondary school students to the threats of online activity. We talked about what kind of scams we can encounter 'online', how to properly protect our personal data, how to verify the identity of an interlocutor and how to shop safely online. Arkadiusz Kozłowski and Łukasz Ścibor took part in the meeting.
