Safer Internet Day - we invite you to workshops for teachers

Safer Internet Day (SID) is a day that aims to draw attention to the issues of safe Internet use by children and young people. It is an initiative of the European Commission. Every year in the first half of February, many countries, not only European, organize numerous events related to the popularization of appropriate attitudes and behaviours on the Internet. It is also important to get parents, teachers and educators interest in the issues of online safety and to promote positive use of the Internet. This year, SID is celebrated on February 9.
On the occasion of Safer Internet Day, we have prepared two free webinars for teachers:
• February 3, 2021 at 16:00 Hejt and hate speech. How to react to the behaviour of children and adolescents?
• February 4, 2021 at 16:00 Internet and gaming addiction. Causes, symptoms and consequences.
The duration of each webinar - 45 minutes.
During the meetings, we will introduce the participants to the dangers that children and young people may encounter while using the Internet. We will also present good practices regarding responsible online behaviour and the use of modern technologies that you can share with your students.
Each participant will receive a certificate confirming participation in the meeting and a guide for parents and teachers "Click sensibly", in which we present threats in the digital world and good practices.
