The great coding celebration is underway!

CodeWeek, i.e. European Code Week, is an initiative aimed at promoting programming and broadly understood digital education among children, adolescents and adults. It was launched by the European Commission in 2013 and its aim is to encourage people of all ages to learn coding in order to understand the rapidly developing world of technology around us.

Coding is not just about "writing a code" and controlling the systems. It is primarily logical thinking, predicting the consequences of actions, deduction and observation. The ability to think cause and effect is a very important skill, desired in every profession.

CodeWeek hosts a variety of events, workshops and webinars on programming and digital technologies.

As part of the Code with UKE campaign, we teach children the basics of programming and we help them improve their digital competences. As digital device overuse becomes a growing problem among children, it is very important to show them how to use technology in creative and developmental ways.

Yesterday, as part of CodeWeek, we conducted coding workshops with Scottie Go Polska at Julian Tuwim Primary School No. 234 in Warsaw.

The organizer of the event was Centrum Projektów Polska Cyfrowa, and the partners were Cyfrowy Dialog, Klub Robota and Roboty i Spółka

Thanks to CodeWeek, anyone can learn the basics of programming, understand its logic, and learn more about creating applications, websites or digital solutions.
