In April, we delivered another edition of our educational webinars, this time dedicated to “AI Traps”, during which we met with primary school students from across Poland. A total of 85,662 participants took part in the webinars.

During the sessions, we introduced students to the topic of artificial intelligence and explored its practical applications step by step. We discussed, among other things:

what AI is and where we encounter it in everyday life – in apps, games and social media;
how to identify AI-generated content;
why not all photos, recordings and statements available online are authentic;
what deepfakes are and how they are created;
how easily people can be misled by realistic-looking content.

Using practical examples, we demonstrated and analysed various forms of manipulation, helping students understand how they work in practice and what warning signs to look out for.

The April webinars once again confirmed that discussions about new technologies are essential from an early age. Our goal is to help students remain vigilant online, especially when they encounter suspicious videos, “perfect” images or content designed to influence their opinions and decisions.

We will host three more webinars in May – the final opportunity to join us:

6 May – Hate and Online Violence for grades 4–6;
20 May – AI Traps for grades 1–3;
27 May – Data and Online Identity for grades 4–6.
