Code with UKE
05 november 2025
At the Office of Electronic Communications, we understand that the key to developing digital competence is early education combined with fun. On November 4th, we had the pleasure of hosting a highly enthusiastic group—children from Primary School No. 52 named after Maciej Aleksy Dawidowski "Alek" in Warsaw. The students traded their school desks for a UKE workshop room to begin their adventure with programming, using the modern educational robot, Photon.
During the classes, the children proved that coding doesn't have to be difficult or boring! The interactive Photon robot, designed to teach programming through action and experimentation, became the center of creative challenges.
The entire session was held under the motto "Learning through Play," and the energy and joy filling the room were the best evidence that programming develops creativity and logical thinking in the most engaging way. The most excitement was generated by the Photon races organized by the young programmers—the "wheel speed" function was the most popular :-)
The classes came to an end, but the enthusiasm of the young guests peaked. The students, full of impressions and new skills, strongly and loudly asked their teacher for the possibility of another visit to UKE.
This is the best reward for us! Such a lively reaction from the children confirms our belief that our mission to develop digital competence among the youngest has immense value.
