Technology is not black magic! During our #CodeWithUKE workshops, we show students that anyone can understand the world of coding.
Today, we welcomed students from two primary schools in Warsaw: Primary School No. 351 and Primary School No. 80. Instead of sitting at their desks, the students worked with Photon, an educational robot used to introduce the basics of programming. This allowed them to learn the principles of logical thinking and algorithm design in an accessible and engaging way.
During the workshops, participants planned the robot’s routes, solved problems as they arose, and learned how to identify and correct errors in their programs. All activities were carried out in the form of educational games, encouraging active participation and effective learning.
The workshops demonstrated that digital skills can be developed in a way that is both engaging and accessible for children, and that technology does not have to be difficult or intimidating.
