Coding with Scottie Go!

On the last Tuesday of October, second-grade students of Primary School “Szarych Szeregów” No. 385 in Warsaw, participated in coding workshops. The classes were based on the popular educational game "Scottie Go!", which uses blocks as code elements. Participants created sequences of commands, which were then scanned and transformed into the actions of the game's hero, Scottie the robot.
During the workshops, children engaged in analysis, coming up with solutions to problems and predicting what will happen when they enter specific commands. Thanks to this, they could understand how important it is to think logically and predict the consequences of their own actions.
