"CYBER VIOLENCE AND CYBER THREATS – NETW@Y TO ADULTHOOD"

At the invitation of Mr. Piotr Makuch, Commander of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Szczecin, on April 23, 2024, employees of the UKE Branch Office in Szczecin: Wojciech Rymer and Michał Kowalczyk took part in a social debate on cyber threats and the impact of these phenomena on children and youth, entitled "CYBER VIOLENCE AND CYBER THREATS – NETW@Y  TO ADULTHOOD”.
During the debate, a presentation on cyberbullying, in particular different forms of violence on the Internet, was given by Mr. Wojciech Rymer.
The event was attended by school principals and teachers from primary and secondary schools, the Children's Friends Society, representatives of the Szczecin City Hall, judges and probation officers from district courts in Szczecin, representatives of the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime and the Police. Some of the speeches were followed by a debate on cyber threats and how to protect children and adolescents against these risks so that they can safely enter adulthood.
Approximately 250 people took part in the event.
