Data and image protection online - online webinars for children

On October 9, 2024, the Office of Electronic Communications organized two online webinars addressed to children and focused on the extremely important topic of personal data and image protection on the Internet. The event was attended by two groups of students from the Primary School in Zielonki-Parcela, who followed the presentations prepared by the experts with attention and actively participated in the meeting.
The aim of the webinar was to increase children's awareness of the risks associated with using the Internet and to provide them with practical tips on how to safely navigate the Internet. During the meeting, key issues, such as privacy protection, personal data management and the consequences of publishing content on social media were discussed.
Children's safety on the Internet is our priority. We want young users to be aware of the threats and to be able to protect their data and image. Thanks to such initiatives, children gain not only knowledge, but also skills that will allow them to cope better in the digital world.
