
Debate "Awareness and prudence - essential characteristics of a consumer"

On March 14, 2025, in the Hall of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, a Debate entitled "Awareness and prudence - essential features of the Consumer" was held. The Conference was organised by the Financial Ombudsman.
The Office of Electronic Communications was represented by Joanna Olszewska – Chief Specialist from the Consumer Affairs Unit at the UKE Branch office in Olsztyn, who presented the activities of the Office in the field of educating children, youth and seniors in terms of threats in electronic communication. During the lecture, educational campaigns conducted by UKE were presented in detail, i.e. I click sensibly, Code with UKE, Me online and I know what I`m signing, moreover issues related to e-banking and cybersecurity were discussed.
The conference was also attended by: the Provincial Inspectorate of Trade Inspection in Olsztyn, the Municipal Police Headquarters in Olsztyn, the District Ombudsman.
