Family Fair at Helena Raszka Primary School No. 7 in Szczecin

On 8 June 2024, representatives of the Consumer Affairs Unit of the Office of Electronic Communications Regional Branch in Szczecin: Jacek Jarocki and Andrzej Żukowski, together with the Chief Specialist from the Department of Monitoring : Andrzej Wąsik, took part in the Family Fair organised on the premises of the Primary School No. 7 at  Złotowska street in Szczecin.
The event aimed at promoting physical activity among young people and integrating the school community; apart from that, students and their families learnt a little about the particular nature of the work done by the Office of Electronic Communications. All proceeds raised during the event were allocated to the needs of the “Anielskie Serce” (Angel Heart) Foundation. During the Fair, the UKE employees talked with school students about navigating safely online. They taught how to use telecommunications devices sensibly, avoid high charges and secure your data. At the end, there were competitions to test the acquired knowledge and small gifts were given to the attendees. Participants of the event also had a unique opportunity to see the latest model of the Mobile Measurement Station, designed for monitoring and tracking radio signals. The Chief Specialist of the Department of Monitoring, in a readily understandable way, revealed the secrets of his daily work to the many interested people, and demonstrated the functionality of the MMS vehicle.
