February Deci“I Click Sensibly” in Police
05 march 2026
Online safety is the foundation of digital education. On 5 March, representatives of the UKE Branch Office in Szczecin conducted workshops for students of Orzeł Biały Primary School No. 5. with Bilingual Classes in Police, teaching the youngest participants how to avoid risks in the online world.
Nearly 50 students from grades 1–3 took part in the meeting. Our experts — Andrzej Żukowski and Anna Gottfried-Stankiewicz — introduced children, in an accessible way, to the principles of responsible use of telecommunications devices. During the workshops, particular attention was paid to:
- Protecting your wallet: how to avoid unintentionally generating high charges in apps and games,
- Cyber hygiene: effective methods of protecting personal data and privacy,
- Online interactions: appropriate responses to verbal aggression and hate speech online.
The students’ engagement exceeded our expectations! Each participant left the classroom with a certificate confirming their newly acquired knowledge, as well as a small gift to remind them of the principles of safe browsing.
We are pleased that, as UKE, we can support young consumers in building their digital awareness from their very first steps on the internet.
