FEST TECH Modern Technologies Festival in Stargard

Last weekend, representatives of the UKE Branch Office in Szczecin — Director Wojciech Rymer and staff members Anna Gottfried-Stankiewicz, Andrzej Żukowski and Adrianna Wesołowska — took part in the FEST TECH Modern Technologies Festival, held on 28–29 March 2026 at the FILARY Stargard Science Centre. The event brought together representatives of the world of science, education and business, as well as enthusiasts of new technologies, offering a diverse programme of lectures, workshops and attractions for participants of all ages.

The UKE Branch Office in Szczecin was present on the first day of the festival, Saturday, 28 March. On that day, the Director of the Regional Office delivered a presentation entitled “Online Safety”, focused on internet threats and the rules of safe use of digital services. At the same time, UKE staff carried out educational activities for the youngest participants. In a specially prepared area, children were able to learn the basics of coding using the Scottie Go! game, developing logical thinking and digital skills through play.

The event was also attended by representatives of, among others, the West Pomeranian Business School, Technopark Pomerania, the Science Centre in Sianów, School Complex No. 1 in Stargard, as well as other institutions and companies related to education and modern technologies, which had co-created the festival programme through lectures, workshops and demonstration zones.

The participation of UKE representatives in the event was part of the Office’s educational efforts to raise public awareness of the safe use of telecommunications services and the internet. The festival also provided an opportunity for direct contact with participants and for promoting UKE’s activities concerning users protection in the telecommunications market.
