„I click sensibly” at Kornel Makuszyński Primary School No. 47 in Szczecin

On 9 April 2026, representatives of the Consumer Affairs Department of the Electronic Communications Office (UKE) Branch Office in Szczecin, Adrianna Wesołowska and Anna Gottfried-Stankiewicz, took part in the “I click sensibly” educational campaign.

The meeting with students from grades 1–3 of Kornel Makuszyński Primary School No. 47 in Szczecin focused on safe and responsible behaviour in the digital environment. The aim of the workshops was to raise awareness among young users of telecommunications devices about online risks and to promote good practices that help protect privacy and ensure online safety.

During the workshops, the students learned about the importance of using only reliable and trustworthy online sources. Particular attention was given to the risks associated with harmful content, online scams, and attempts to obtain personal information fraudulently. The participants also learned about the potential consequences of sharing information online without proper caution, including posting photographs, personal data, or location details. An important part of the meeting was devoted to cyberbullying and the ways children can respond to inappropriate behaviour online. The discussion covered available reporting mechanisms and practical tools, such as reporting abusive content and blocking users who engage in harmful activities.

The workshops were highly interactive, with students actively participating in discussions, sharing their experiences, and asking numerous thoughtful questions. At the end of the event, participants received commemorative certificates and small gifts acknowledging their involvement in the programme.

Approximately 80 people took part in the event.
