“I click sensibly” at Primary School No. 10 in Szczecin

On 26 May 2026, representatives of the Consumer Affairs Unit from the Szczecin Branch of the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) - Adrianna Wesołowska and Andrzej Żukowski - participated in the “I click sensibly” campaign, which aims to promote safe and responsible internet use among the youngest users of new technologies.

During the meeting at L. Teliga Primary School No. 10 in Szczecin, UKE staff spoke with first-grade students about how to navigate the internet safely and use electronic communications devices responsibly. Approximately 100 people participated in the session.

The youngest students learned, among other things:

·       why it is important to use only trusted websites and links,

·       how to create strong and unique passwords and why they should not be shared with anyone,

·       what risks are associated with posting photos, locations, and personal data online,

·       what cyberbullying is and how to respond to dangerous behaviour on the internet,

·       how to report or block people who harass or bully others online.

The session was interactive, and the students eagerly shared their experiences and answered questions asked by session leaders. At the end, the children received certificates and small gifts for their active participation in the session.
