“I click sensibly” in Szczecin
22 april 2026
During a visit to the Świętej Rodziny Primary School at 2 Budziszyńska Street in Szczecin, representatives of the Electronic Communications Office (UKE) conducted educational workshops for first-grade students. The aim of the meeting was to introduce young children to the principles of safe use of electronic communications devices and responsible online behaviour.
Throughout the session, students actively participated in discussions and exercises based on everyday situations they may encounter online. The presenters explained in an accessible way what an online aggression is, how to respond to it, and why it is important to treat other internet users with respect. Basic principles of personal data protection were also discussed, and students learned why they should never share passwords, home addresses or telephone numbers with strangers.
An important part of the meeting focused on the responsible use of digital devices, including the potential consequences of using applications and services that can generate high charges without proper supervision. Students learned simple ways to avoid unwanted payments and when it is important to seek help from parents or guardians.
Nearly 50 students took part in the event.
We would like to thank all participants for their enthusiasm, openness and interest in the topics discussed.
