Meeting with consumers in Czarnków

On March 4, 2025, employees of the UKE Delegation in Poznań participated in an educational meeting with residents of Czarnków in the "Światowid" cinema hall of the Municipal Cultural Center in Czarnków. The event was organized by the Consumer Ombudsman of the Czarnków-Trzcianecki District. Apart from UKE, a police officer gave a speech concerning combating frauds.

UKE employees provided consumers with information on, among others:

- new rights resulting from the entry into force of the Electronic Communications Law,

- possibilities of pursuing claims in complaint proceedings and in proceedings before the President of UKE – intervention and out-of-court dispute resolution (ADR) – in the scope of electronic and postal communication services,

- what to pay attention to when sending parcels,

- ways of recognising and protecting against cyber threats for users of electronic communication services,

- free online courses for consumers available at the UKE Consumer Information Centre.
