On World Senior Citizens Day – November 14, 2025 – employees of the UKE Delegation in Poznań participated in a small educational meeting with the residents of Poznań. The visit took place at the Senior Initiatives Centre (Centrum Inicjatyw Senioralnych).

UKE employees provided consumers with information on:

·        New rights resulting from the entry into force of the Electronic Communications Law (Ustawa Prawo Komunikacji Elektronicznej),

·        Opportunities for pursuing claims in the complaint procedure and in proceedings before the President of UKE – interventionary proceedings and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) proceedings – regarding electronic communication and postal services,

·        What to pay attention to when sending and packing shipments,

·        Ways to recognize and protect against cyber threats for users of electronic communication services,

·        Free online courses for consumers available on the UKE Consumer Information Centre.

During the lecture, the participants asked questions, also regarding individual matters concerning the use of electronic communication and postal services, and collected leaflets. Eight people took part in the meeting.
