Open Days at the E. Kwiatkowski School Complex No. 2 in Dębica

On March 21, 2023, the employees of the Rzeszów Regional Branch of the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) were invited to participate in the Open Days at the E. Kwiatkowski School Complex No. 2 in Dębica. The meeting was attended by Anita Jabłońska and Gabriela Barańska from the Consumer Affairs Division as well as Sławomir Niezgoda and Marcin Komaryczko from the Monitoring Division.
In front of the school building was the Sprinter Mobile Measuring Station prepared for taking measurements and the installed measuring equipment. In the school building, visiting students could learn about the activities of the Office of Electronic Communications.
With the help of the employees of the Consumer Affairs Division, students learned how to deal with hate, how to protect their online data, what Premium Rate text messages are, and how to avoid excessive charges for telecommunications services. At the end of the meeting, students received information leaflets related to, among others, the Klikam z głową # keepCTRL campaign.
The time spent at the open days was accompanied by the music and dancing of the school bands. On the square in front of the school, next to the Mobile Measuring Station, students could observe the launch of a stratospheric balloon with a suspended location transmitter, thanks to which it was possible to observe the position and height of the balloon in real time.
