Public debate – Cyber Threats: education, prevention, response

At the invitation of the District Police Headquarters and the City Hall in Pyrzyce representatives from the Office of Electronic Communications Regional Branch in Szczecin, Director Wojciech Rymer and Head of the Department of Consumer Policy Jacek Jarocki participated in a public debate. The event, titled “Cyber Threats: education, prevention, response,” was held on 29 October 2024 at the Community Centre in Pyrzyce.

During the debate, Director Wojciech Rymer delivered a presentation on the dangers that children may encounter on the Internet and how they can protect themselves from these threats.

The event was attended by representatives of local authorities, principals of schools and educational institutions in the Pyrzyce municipality, along with students and senior citizens from the Polish Association of Retirees, Pensioners and Invalids in Pyrzyce, and seniors from the Third Age University in Pyrzyce. Following the presentations, a debate took place to develop a unified stance on preventing crisis situations among children.
