Safe Senior Conference

On 7 October, at the invitation of the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodship, we took part in a conference on online safety for seniors. The conference was attended, among others, by :
- Agnieszka Sokołowska - Director of the Security Department of the Marshal's Office of Lower Silesia
- Tomasz Gajewczyk - Deputy Director of the Rural Division of the Lower Silesian Voivodship Office
- Małgorzata Calińska - Mayer - Councillor of the Lower Silesian Voivodship, Chairperson of the Complaints, Applications and Petitions Committee and Vice-Chairperson of the Social Policy, Health and Family Committee
- Jarosław Jezierski - Lecturer, Regional Coordinator of Economic Education Programmes
- representative of the Cybercrime Department of the Voivodeship Police Headquarters in Wrocław
- WOT representatives
UKE was represented by Katarzyna Grabowska, Aleksandra Mokrzycka, Milena Górecka and Arkadiusz Michałowski from the Consumer Policy Department. In our presentation we explained to the participants the basic rules for safe and responsible use of the Internet as part of the J@online campaign. We talked about how to avoid risks and what to pay attention to. Seniors could also broaden and test their knowledge as part of UKE courses under the guidance of our experts.
