„Sensitivity towards people with disabilities” at Primary School no. 182 in Łódź

"Sensitivity towards people with disabilities"  - this is the topic of a workshop conducted on March 4 for sixth- and seventh-grade students at Primary School no. 182 in Łódź. It was conducted by Katarzyna Mądrzycka-Adamczyk and Konrad Kozłowski from the Department of Consumer Policy. The aim was to increase awareness of the challenges that people with disabilities meet both in everyday life and in the virtual world.

During the workshops, students learned what challenges people with disabilities may encounter in everyday life and while using the Internet. Additionally, the speakers discussed how people with disabilities can use a computer or smartphone to actively participate in the digital society. Participants also learned basic signs in Polish Sign Language so that they knew how to greet, introduce themselves or offer something to drink.
