Vote for J@online in the WSIS Prizes 2022 competition
16 march 2022
Our project Educational campaign “J@ online” improving digital safety skills of various social groups was nominated in this year’s edition organized by ITU WSIS Prizes 2022. We encourage you to support and vote on our initiative on the contest website!
The project started in 2021. The campaign is aimed at both young internet users and older people who need to improve their digital competences. It is a response to the changes occurring in cyberspace accompanying the pandemic: the transfer of an increasing number of services online, the start of using the Internet by new social groups, and at the same time the development of threats such as phishing and scam. The main goal of the campaign is to increase the digital competences of various social groups (primarily of seniors, people with special needs and children), to present the benefits of e-administration, e-banking and online shopping, while sensitizing to Internet crimes and learning to avoid threats.
UKE’s project was qualified to Category 9 - AL C7. ICT applications: benefits in all aspects of life - E-learning. To vote, you must register at the ITU website. You can only vote for one project in a given category. Voters are encouraged to vote in each category but it is not required. Voting continues until 31st March.
