World Consumer Day

On World Consumer Day dated 15.03.2024, employees of the UKE Regional Branch in Lublin were invited to a meeting with senior citizens under the slogan "Let's be safe, brave and joyful..." organised by the Mayor of Biała Podlaska, the Consumer Ombudsman in Biała Podlaska,
the Management Board of the Polish Association of Retirees, Pensioners and Invalids in Biała Podlaska with the support of the Biała Cultural Centre.
The meeting was held at the Biała Podlaska City Hall and was an opportunity to draw seniors' attention to the dangers of online activity. We talked about how to verify the honesty of a shop, how to protect personal data and, above all, how not to be cheated by online criminals. It is worth emphasising that the topics of the presentations were chosen by the participants themselves.
