Digital Opportunities Day in Łódź – Programming in the Language of the Future

On October 11, 2025, Digital Opportunities Day took place at the Sports Bay in Łódź—an event organized in collaboration with the Digital Opportunities Club, an initiative led by NASK and the Cyfrowy Dialog Foundation. The goal of the event was to showcase the growing importance of digital skills today and the role programming plays in shaping the future of young people.

Participants had the opportunity to join workshops in programming, robotics, and 3D printing. There was also an educational zone hosted by the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE), which, as every year, actively participates in European Code Week, promoting programming education and safe use of new technologies.

For years, UKE has supported initiatives demonstrating that programming is the language of the future. It teaches logical thinking, develops problem-solving skills, and fosters creativity. Through programming, young people not only gain a better understanding of how technology works but also learn to independently create solutions that can impact the world around them.

Digital Opportunities Day in Łódź once again proved that learning programming can be inspiring, engaging, and full of the joy of discovery. It is an excellent example of cooperation between public institutions and educational organizations to advance the digital skills of the younger generation.
