Today, another webinar in the series ‘Data and image online’ took place. This time, we met with students from grades 4–6 and 7–8. During the meetings, we talked about the importance of taking care of your data online and about using social media and various online services responsibly.
The students learned why they should not make their personal data public and what consequences careless sharing may have. We also emphasized that our online image is like our business card and what we publish on the Internet can be visible to others for a long time and affect how we are perceived.
Today's meetings provided an opportunity to discuss online responsibility and raise awareness that online safety starts with the choices we make every day.
