Visiting seniors with the Financial Ombudsman

On January 21, we celebrated Grandmother's & Grandfather's Day and at the We Help Seniors Association.
Such meetings are an excellent opportunity to talk to seniors in a more relaxed atmosphere. We took the opportunity to talk (over coffee and apple pie) about cybersecurity to warn seniors against phishing, smishing and vishing that they may encounter. Unfortunately, many seniors have directly encountered attacks by cybercriminals :-( We explained how to react and where to report any attempted cyberattacks - seniors took notes :-)
We invited a representative of the Financial Ombudsman to the meeting, who explained what unauthorized financial transactions are and what to do if criminals steal our money. It's worth knowing where to look for help.
